What one student had to say about the workshop
in a post to the Infamous Didj List

IT WAS GREAT...

4 hours with Mark Atkins and Janawirri Yiparrka. Mark did the how to
play stuff and Janawirri talked on a wide range of subjects. They also
played a few numbers solo and together. These guys are wonderful didge
players and really good people. And both are talented painting artists.

The best tips of the class.

"You're just some person blowing a hollow log. Don't let your head swell
up about it."

"Practice slow, soft, and steady. It teaches control."

Randy Graves deserves a great round of thanks for setting up the San
Diego gig. He did a great job of bringing some of the real deal to our
part of the world.

Janawirri mentioned he might be coming back for a short stay in the
area which means a possibility of more workshops and concerts. A sweet
dream that may come true? Sure hope so.
